About Us

Summit Church Texas is a NEW church located in Corpus Christi Texas. We believe God has assembled a great team to reach Corpus Christi for Jesus Christ! We really BELIEVE in Jesus and the Bible. We preach the whole Bible and stand for Jesus ALL OF THE Time.

Hello, this is Pastor Terry Fox. I am excited to be back in Corpus Christi. I enjoyed being Pastor at Gardendale Baptist Church for 10 years. We saw God change many lives during that ministry. The Lord has lead me to establish a new church in Corpus Christi called Summit Church Texas! I have asked Pastor Bobby Graham to serve as Campus Pastor, and Pastor Pat Bullock to serve as our Teaching Pastor. We have assembled a great ministry team and are ready to serve you. You will enjoy powerful worship, dynamic preaching, and Bible Study every week. God has given me a great love for the people of this city, and we believe that it is God’s will to save all people. Our goal is to share his Gospel to everyone. I look forward to serving with you once again for his glory! 1 Corinthians 10:31 Blessings Lead Pastor Terry Fox

Our Vision

Summit Church Texas exists to be a New Testament church and present a Biblical world view.  We will have impact on our world by being alive and available to share the gospel and minister to the body of Christ. By being dependent on the Holy Spirit, His gifting of the believers, and the Truth found in the Word of God, we will be able to fulfill the purposes that God has for us.

Proverbs 29:18 Where there is no vision, the people perish…

Mission Statement

Summit Church Texas is an Acts 1:8 church and plans to accomplish its vision by fulfilling the Great Commission, by making disciples through evangelism, and by marking them with scriptural baptism in the local church, and by maturing them through biblical discipleship.

Acts 1:8 But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

Matthew 28:19-20 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: 20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

Our Goals for Every Member of Summit Church Texas

  1. To be a saved believer

  2. To be a sanctified believer

  3. To be a serving believer

  4. To be a soul-winning believer

  5. To be a sold-out believer

2 Corinthians 5:17-20 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. 18 And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; 19 To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation. 20 Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ’s stead, be ye reconciled to God.

We attended Summit Church Texas tonight. Bro. Tom gave his testimony. He has experienced many trials and test during his life, but he obviously loves the Lord. We found the members to be very warm and friendly. We plan to attend Sunday service and bible study.

can you tell what the ministry of a campus pastor, and a teaching pastor is? can you direct me to scripture that mentions these type of pastors? looking for a new church home. thanks.

Our Campus Pastor is the main responsible party for the building, grounds, and local issues. Our Teaching Pastors normally teach the Word of God or do counseling. All of our Pastors care over the people and preach, we would love to have you come join us!

Amid the Covid-19 concerns, I am happy to see that Pastor Terry has come back to Corpus Christi. He was instrumental in helping me regain faith, in a body of believers who were sincere and growing in their relationship with the Lord and each other. I went to Gardendale Baptist Church back in 1991. That church had been there for almost 100 years, according to what Clayton Gwyne, the father of Orman Gwyne, told me. He said it started in the back of a grocery store. May God keep feeding people with His Spiritual food, as well as “our daily bread”. In Christ, Sarah
